Why Tallow? Why Now?

I didn’t set out to sell skincare. I just wanted something safe enough to use on my kids. Something without seed oils, fragrance, or a 37-letter chemical I had to Google.

So I made my own.

My first tallow balm had just two ingredients — grass-fed tallow and olive oil — and it was the only thing my nephew’s eczema didn’t react to. From there, I started experimenting with simple, clean, food-grade ingredients I already trusted in my kitchen. The results? Better skin. Fewer flare-ups. And a balm I felt good about putting on my kids, my face, and my newborn’s cheeks.

Eating healthy doesn’t need to be complicated and Something Simple, the cookbook, delivers just that.

The healthy recipes you've always wanted with the simplicity you've always needed.

Inspired from a combination of a love for health and fitness, a bachelors degree in early child development, over 10 years teaching in the earliest years classrooms and 4 children of my own, this cookbook is truly a work of passion and love.

Over 90 kid and husband approved recipes that are gluten free, refined sugar free and dairy conscious. Everything from high protein snacks, crowd pleasing sides and salads, delicious meals that focus on whole food ingredients, fuelling breakfast options and even guilt free, decadent desserts!

This is the one cookbook you will actually reach for again and again, allowing you to rest assured that you are nutritionally fuelling, not just filling, yourself and your loved ones.

      I Now Like Cooking!

As someone who does not enjoy cooking, I have found this cookbook to be a wonderful resource to quick, easy meals. My favourites so far are Lazy Man's Lasagna and chicken stir fry. There are also foods that I have never thought of making before such as enchiladas. It has opened up a world of new flavours and new favourite foods!
