Okay these ones are so fun simply because they leave you open to express you’re creative side and adapt these to season or mood you’re in!

Whether you’re in a season of buckling down and looking to become you’re fittest self or are looking for a fun treat, but still healthy, to celebrate or just because, these basic protein might be just what you’re looking for.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup all natural peanut butter

1/3 cup honey

3/4 cup vanilla protein powder

1/4 - 1/2 cup oat flour (I just grind up oats to make this)

1 tsp pure vanilla extract (or just dump some in 🤤)

1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions:

  • Combine all the wet ingredients in one bowl and dry ingredients in a separate bowl. (only add 1/4 cup of the oat flour to start and add more as needed, see EDIT below)

  • Once dry and wet ingredients are independently well mixed, combine them and mix them together. You most likely will need to use your hands for this part.

  • Press into a 8x8 square baking dish lined with parchment paper until flat, firm and smooth on top.

  • Put in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and then allow to sit on the for about 5 minutes before cutting into bars.

NOTE: this batter feels quite dry and crumbly and so make sure to take your time and give it some TLC when pressing it into the pan so that it’s pressed down nice and firm.

EDIT: I have since made these chocolate protein powder of a different brand than my first and they were very crumbly! Protein powders differ and so add the protein powder and then slowly add the oat flour until they're doughy but not crumbly.

THE FUN PART:

Don’t be scared to play around with these ones. The basic vanilla peanut butter flavour leaves so much room fun. Add chocolate chips, craisins, nuts or whatever you’d like to them. Or even head over to my Triple Chocolate Protein Bar recipe I posted just before this one and grab the chocolate topping from it and add that on top! The sky is the limit.

And if you do make them and decide to have fun with them, post a pic in your social media and tag me in it so I can see too! Or share in the comment section below. ❤️🥰❤️

Happy snacking and God bless,

Sarah ❤️🥰❤️
